Editorial Policies

All original manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Emerging Financial Markets and Policy are subjected to a preliminary screening process by the Editorial Board based on author guidelines, the scope of the journal, and the quality of the manuscript. The manuscripts that pass the initial screening undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are assigned to two subject experts in the same or related fields by the Editor-in-Chief through consultation with the Editorial Board to conduct separate anonymous reviews.

The reviewers are requested to review manuscripts according to the reviewer guidelines. Based on the review reports, the Editorial Board may accept, reject or send for revision. If the decision is to send for revision, the review reports are sent to the corresponding author to address the comments appropriately in a timely manner and resubmit the revised manuscript with separate written responses as to how each comment was addressed in the revised paper. Once the revised manuscript is received, the manuscript along with author responses are sent to the original reviewers for their further review and comments. If necessary, this review process may be repeated multiple times as long as there are substantial comments for revisions. A revised and resubmitted manuscript may be rejected if comments are not addressed to the satisfaction of the reviewers. If the reviewers determine that the comments have been adequately addressed, the paper will be accepted for publication subject to language editing. Once the final version of the paper is ready to be published, it will be sent to the corresponding author for a final check and any further corrections, if any. After this process, the Managing Editor will make arrangements to publish in an upcoming volume of the Journal.
