The Journal of Emerging Financial Markets and Policy (JEFMP) is published by the Sri Lanka Finance Association (SLFA). JEFMP is committed to the broad dissemination, accessibility, and responsible reuse of scholarly research.
Copyright in articles published in JEFMP is owned by the Sri Lanka Finance Association (SLFA).
Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, the author(s) assign copyright in the article to SLFA in accordance with the JEFMP Author Copyright Transfer Agreement.
The copyright assignment covers the published article, including its text, tables, figures, and other original material created by the author(s), except for material identified as belonging to third parties.
SLFA, as the copyright holder, retains the right to publish, reproduce, archive, preserve, and distribute the Version of Record and to make it available through scholarly databases, indexing and abstracting services, repositories, libraries, and other dissemination platforms.
JEFMP provides immediate open access to its published scholarly articles.
All articles published by JEFMP are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users may:

Although copyright is assigned to SLFA, authors retain broad rights to use their published work under the CC BY 4.0 license.

The CC BY 4.0 license applies only to material for which SLFA has the necessary rights to grant the license.
Material belonging to third parties, including photographs, figures, tables, instruments, or other copyrighted material reproduced with permission or under another legal basis, may be subject to separate copyright and licensing conditions.
Where applicable, such material will be identified in the relevant caption, acknowledgement, or other appropriate location in the article.
Users are responsible for determining whether separate permission is required for the reuse of third-party material.
SLFA may preserve and disseminate JEFMP articles through digital preservation services, institutional repositories, scholarly databases, indexing and abstracting services, libraries, and other appropriate platforms.
SLFA may provide the journal’s content and associated metadata to third-party services for purposes of scholarly discovery, indexing, preservation, and distribution.
The copyright holder will be identified on the published article and in the article’s full-text version.
