6th Annual International Undergraduate Finance Research Conference (IUFRC) - 2026
The annual International Undergraduate Finance Research Conference of Sri Lanka (IUFRC) provides a platform for finance undergraduates to present their research work. In line with that, the main objective of this conference is to encourage undergraduates of Sri Lanka as well as worldwide to present their research findings at the conference and motivate them to publish the full paper in peer-reviewed journals. Further, the conference facilitates the undergraduates, practitioners, and the community across the globe to discuss cutting-edge research areas in finance and to cascade their research findings effectively in financial markets.

My Nguyen is an Associate Professor of Finance and the Deputy Head of the Finance Department at RMIT University. Her research spans banking, corporate finance, and entrepreneurial finance, with a particular interest in how finance intersects with social and organisational contexts. She has published in leading journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, and the British Accounting Review.
She has successfully secured over $600,000 in competitive academic and industry funding and has received multiple best paper awards at international conferences. She co-leads the Multicultural Inclusion & Organisations theme at RMIT’s Centre for Organisations and Social Change (COSC), where she works collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to promote diversity, equity, and inclusive practices in finance and organisational research. She also contributes to the scholarly community as a regular reviewer for top-tier journals including the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, British Accounting Review, Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, British Journal of Management, and many others
