As financial systems worldwide continue to experience profound changes driven by digital transformation, geopolitical uncertainties, and shifting global economic dynamics, organizations and policymakers must redefine financial strategies to remain resilient, competitive, and sustainable. The Annual Conference on Emerging Financial Markets and Policies (EFMP-2026) aims to address these pressing challenges by highlighting the importance of technological innovation, strategic adaptability, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable financial practices in an increasingly interconnected world. The conference seeks to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration among academics, industry professionals, and policymakers to explore innovative approaches for navigating global shifts while strengthening financial stability and institutional effectiveness. Papers are invited from academics, policy makers as well as graduate students from Sri Lanka and abroad, particularly from emerging and frontier economies.

You are invited to submit your research papers to be considered for presentation at the conference. Only full research papers will be considered.

Publication Opportunities

The authors have the option to publish the papers accepted for the conference for publication in the to the Journal of Emerging Financial Markets and Policy (JEFMP) which is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to emerging and frontier financial markets and economies.
