Conference Theme: Navigating Sustainable Growth and Innovation in Emerging Financial Markets

As emerging financial markets navigate global uncertainties, evolving regulatory frameworks, and rapid technological advancements, it is imperative to pursue economic growth that is balanced with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities. The Annual Conference on Emerging Financial Markets and Policies (EFMP-2025) seeks to address these critical challenges by emphasizing the role of digital innovation, advancing financial inclusion, strengthening institutional resilience, and promoting responsible investment practices. The conference aims to cultivate meaningful dialogue and cross-sector collaboration to build resilient and sustainable financial ecosystems capable of fostering long-term progress and innovation in an increasingly interconnected global economy. EFMP 2025 invites academics, practitioners, and policymakers to explore forward-thinking financial solutions that not only accelerate growth but also contribute to sustainable development goals.

The conference welcomes research papers in all areas of finance focusing on emerging markets and economies. Conference tracks include the following:

Papers are invited from academics, policy makers as well as graduate students from Sri Lanka and abroad, particularly from emerging and frontier economies.

You are invited to submit your research papers to be considered for presentation at the conference. Only full research papers will be considered.

Publication Opportunities

The authors have the option to publish the papers accepted for the conference for publication in the to the Journal of Emerging Financial Markets and Policy (JEFMP) which is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to emerging and frontier financial markets and economies.

Authors will be notified of the acceptance decision by July 31, 2025.
